WellFare seeks to improve the lives of children in Africa.
Working in Uganda, the charity supports the BMK School situated in a remote rural
area in the south-
WellFare believes that by creating greater access to education, children can escape poverty and create better lives for themselves.
WellFare was founded by the United Reformed Church in Dorking and has been adopted as their international mission to show Jesus’ love across the world. However, these Christian roots do not exclude beneficiaries from other faiths or of no faith. The only criterion is ‘need’.
WellFare was so named after its first project to provide a well for the BMK School. The charity by a committee of volunteers and incurs no administrative costs. Every penny donated helps the children in Uganda.
